Legacy Aged Care is a family-based business born from love, resilience, and firsthand experience. As an only child caring for my mum through her dementia journey, I know the emotional and physical toll it takes. For years, I balanced full-time work with organising support staff, cleaners, meal preparation, and companion care — often on little or no sleep.
This business isn’t built from theory — it’s built from the reality so many families face. That’s why our approach is personal, compassionate, and practical. We’re here to help you keep your loved ones at home safely for as long as possible, while also protecting your own wellbeing.
We understand the emotional weight of caring for a loved one. Our story began with my mum — my rock, my best friend.
As an only child caring for my mum through her dementia journey, I know the emotional and physical toll it takes.
For years, I balanced full-time work with organising support staff, cleaners, meal preparation, and companion care — often on little or no sleep.
At 85, her dementia progressed to the point where I, as an only child, had to make the heartbreaking decision to move her into a nursing home. It was one of the hardest experiences of my life.
Legacy Aged Care was born out of that journey — created to support families just like yours.
